Shergarh Tented Camp is a Jungle Lodge located
near Mukki Gate of Kanha National Park, Madhya Pradesh, India.
Shergarh Tented Camp is the creation of naturalist Jehan Bhujwala and his English
wife Katie, whose aim is to ensure a personalised and specialised wildlife experience
to every guest
The Resort offers:
Tented accommodation - Six cosy tents are individually spaced inside
a wooded grove to provide privacy. Each has a large front verandah and an attached
bathroom with piping hot showers. Thatched roofs house each tent and are watered
in the hot months to ease off rising temperatures.
Meals : Wholesome Indian and Continental food prepared from home-grown
vegetables, local produce and fish farmed from our lake is served in the Main
House.
Library - Surrounded by deep verandahs, the house looks out on to an
array of bird life displaying on the water, and serves as a central meeting
point to exchange stories around an open fire, or to relax quietly with a book
from our library.

Kanha is home to famous Indian Tiger and a variety of flora and fauna and
offers excellent opportunity for spotting a tiger, best months being Oct-June
when the park is open for visitors.
How to Reach
The quickest entrance is to fly to Raipur, followed by a 4 to 5 hour drive.
Raipur is connected with most major cities, though Nagpur - 6 hours can be an
easier option with more regular flights.
The closest train station is Gondia Junction followed by a 3 hour drive. Other
nearby rail connections are+ Jabalpur - 5 hours, Bilaspur - 6 hours, Raipur
and Nagpur. All stations are well connected with major cities.
Car journey times between local popular destinations are Pench Tiger Reserve
- 4 hours, Bandavgarh Tiger Reserve 6 to 7 hours and Kawarda Palace
3 to 4 hours.
