Detailed Itinerary - Tiger Safari in Ranthambore

Day 1: Arrival in New Delhi

You will be greeted on arrival at the New Delhi airport by our representative. He will take you to the hotel, assist you with the check-in formalities and help you with all the travel-related documents. There are accommodations for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: New Delhi - Sawai Madhopur, Ranthambore (By train)

Eat an early breakfast at the hotel, and transfer to the New Delhi Railway Station to board a train at 07:40 hours. Our representative will assist you in boarding the train with your baggage. He will ensure you’re comfortable on your designated berth with water and some fruits, he will advise you on the journey and where to get off. The train attendant will assist you in de-boarding at 1240 hours at Sawai Madhopur Railway Station.

Our representative will receive you at the railway station with your name card, assist you with your luggage and transfer you to the Resort. Check-in at the resort. Post a relaxed lunch, proceed for the afternoon game drive.

Day 3: In Ranthambore National Park

The park awaits your presence at dawn and at dusk. Take the morning and evening game drive and enjoy hot meals at the resort.

Regarded as one of the best national parks for a tiger safari in India, Ranthambore National Park is also a photographer’s paradise. With different kinds of lighting, angles, backdrop and any frame that you want, Ranthambore is picturesque in its own special way. The Park is also rich in Avifauna, with around 300 species of birds.

In fact for a keen bird watcher, Ranthambore and the surrounding area is a paradise. Some key species include Large Cormorant, Painted Spurfowl, Sarus Crane, bronzed winged Jacana, Sandpiper, Kingfisher, Nighjar, painted Sandgrouse, Great Horned Owl and many more regular winter migrants which come from their nesting ground north of Himalayas to Ranthambore and surrounding areas. Day 4: In Ranthambore National Park

With an area of 400 sq. km, Ranthambore encompasses a rocky hill crests which descend to open valleys between the Aravalli and Vindhya Ranges, dotted with water pools and fruit trees, this park gets its name from the thousand-year-old fortress, which looms above the forest. Well known for the diurnal activity of Tigers, Ranthambore is a very special and unusual area where a natural present meets a historical past.

Sambar, Cheetah, Chinkara, Nilgai and Langoor, the elusive Leopard and Tigers are found in this reserve with tourists standing a very good chance of seeing tigers during the safaris. Dotted across the landscape are the crumbling ruins of its past glory, be it chatris or cupolas, palaces or old guard posts, all of which reinforce the magical and ethereal quality of this great wilderness.

Day 5: Ranthambore - New Delhi (By train)

Take your last morning game drive to the park. Return from your tiger safari in Ranthambore and eat an early lunch (or packed lunch), post which you will drive to the Sawai Madhopur Railway Station to board a train back to New Delhi. On arrival at New Delhi, you will be met by our representative who will assist you with transfer to the International Terminal of the New Delhi Airport to catch your onward flight home or will help you check-in at the Hotel in New Delhi.
